Epoisses is a washed-rind cheese (washed in Marc de Bourgogne, a local Brandy) best described by Murray’s Cheese as a “custardy bacon bomb.” It’s intensely creamy and unctuous so bring a spoon! Epoisses is cleverly packaged in a charming wood box. Open the lid to discover barn-yardy aromas before experiencing the spicy, sweet, and salty flavors of this magnificent cheese.
